Service Fee Standards
1. Payment Methods
For in-person applications at the service window, you may pay the application fees for documents using Money Orders, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards. Cash, company checks, and personal checks are not accepted.
If you require return mail service at the window (limited to passports and travel documents only), payment for both document application fees and mailing service fees can only be made by Money Order. No other payment methods are accepted.

For Money Orders, please make them payable to: Chinese Consulate.

The standard processing time applies in most cases, but some applications may require additional processing time. Please wait patiently for further notifications from the Consulate.
Due to reciprocity agreements, visa application fees for citizens of certain third countries may differ. Please refer to Consulate explanations as the standard.
The above fee standards are for regular service. Travel documents can be expedited:
Urgent processing (ready on the 3rd working day): an additional $25 per item.
Express processing (ready on the 2nd working day): an additional $37 per item.
Notarization Fees
Civil Notarization: $22 for the original, $7 per copy.
Commercial Notarization: $44 for the original, $7 per copy.
Expedited fees: $25 per item for urgent service, $37 per item for express service.
Note: Multiple identical notarized documents processed at the same time are counted with one original and the rest as copies. Expedited fees are charged based on the number of originals.
